something missed in the last post

I forgot to mention in the last post.

It is not the service that I am excited about, I'm not excited at all, I don't want to go but have to because my job requires that I be there. :-P

I'm excited about the craft because I love doing crafts and it is something new that I am going to try.

fun times

I'm so excited!! I get to go to Michaels tonight to get some craft supplies for work.

We are having a Candle Light Service here and we are going to make Christmas ornaments for each family to put their loved one's name on and hang on our tree and then after the service they will be able to take it home.

I get to make them myself so I am all excited. Yippee!!

I get to get creative at work and I get paid to do it!! Can it get any better?!

I'll take pictures of the finished product and show you all when they are done. I can't wait!

car shopping

This weekend we are going car shopping for Truckerman. I HATE shopping for vehicles! I would rather be doing something else. :-P

Work has been really slow here which makes the days seem long and drawn out. I should really take this opportunity to study but I just can not seem to get motivated and focused to do it. Acts and Regulations are very dry ready and can put people to sleep so it is very hard to stay focused on what you are reading. BLAH!!!

WOW only 33 days until Christmas!!! Without the snow it is really difficult to wrap my brain around it. We really need some snow. Okay for all you that are thinking that I am nuts for saying that it is true though and with the dead grass and barren trees snow would look nice right now.

wow is it slow

It is absolutely slow at work. Everything that needs to be done has been done. OY!!

Friday night we went to our pastor and his wife's home for an evening with other young people. so we could meet and get to know some other people at church. We had a good time and it looks like we are going to do things every couple of months as a group.

Saturday night I had a stampin' up party and had a good time. It was nice to be able to get out and stamp. It was just nice to actually stamp since it has been a while since I have done it. I really have to get on making my Christmas cards so I can get them ready to give out instead of scrambling at the last minute.

Question that needs answering

So what is your opinion on the supernatural? At work we have had people see things in certain areas. There are lights being turned on and off. And the door bell (you have to open the door for it to go off) after the door was locked and the door bell was ringing. WEIRD!!!

We not only have an ant problem in our place we now have mice. GRRR!!! Me not so happy about that. One good thing is our building does not have coch roached. :-P

My eyebrows and eyelids are back to normal but my face is not. My rosatia came back woth a vengence and I have bumps all over it and it has been super itchy. The facial peel and waxing was a really bad idea. Remind me never to do that again.

There was a Lutheran scientist that came to the boys school to talk to them about being a Christian scientist and to show them the robot that he made that is now on its way to Mars. Well, he was so impressed with Pete with the questions that he asked and the knowledge he had about science that he is looking at having Pete go to the university to help him with some experiments and to mentor him. I have a smart kid, 2 smart kids.

not sure if it was a good idea

One day at work someone came in from a salon down the street with an offer I just could not refuse. For $55 I could get my hair cut, highlighted, and styled. Get a manicure and pedicure. And get a facial peel and waxing. It is a great deal.

I went in for the peel and eye brow wax friday. My opinion on the peel. A real waste of time and would have been a real waste of money if I would have paid for it separately.

On the other hand the eye brow wax at first looked good until the next day. I eyebrows are swollen and red where the wax was put and there are bumps where the wax was put. It is still this way at this moment.

The picture does not show it well but it is much worse.

I was in the mood to scrapbook today since it has been quite a while since I have sat down and did some pages. The problem that I have is the lack of room to spread out and get creative. So here are the boys and I stamping and scrapbooking on the bed.
I did get 3 pages finished and the boys get to stamp and we had some time together doing something that we enjoy doing.



I can't wait to move so we will have some room for me to spread out and have room to get creative instead of sitting on my bed trying to find things and keep things from falling over.

But then again, maybe I have to much stuff. NAH!!! The more creative stuff the better. And all I can say is the Dollarama ROCKS!!! for scrapbooking supplies.

official

It is official. I am now a graduate from the Funeral Directors and Embalmers Course. I received my certificate in the mail yesterday. YIPEE!! Along with the certificate I received a pewter mug with my name and info on it. Very nice.

Two more steps to go to be fully licensed. UGH!! I can do it I know I can.

quiet

This so far has been a quiet week.

We had a funeral yesterday and that is all that is lined up this week. OY!

My manager is way today thru thursday so I am on my own. The attendant that works with us is gone this morning but will be with me the rest of the time.

This morning I cleaned all the glass, cleaned the bathrooms, and emptied the garbages around the building. So all that I have left to do is vacuum the whole building. :-P Dusting was done the other day so I can leave that for thursday for something to do. Yipee!!

This will give me time to study for my upcoming licensing exam that I need to write. I really do need to get on that. I have started studying but I haven't booked a time to write it. I will have to sit down with my manager to discuss it with him.

We officially have snow on the ground. There was freezing rain this morning north of the city. Yikes!! The only thing about the snow that I am not looking forward to is the driving part. Too dangerous.

The house is offically sold. We received everything from the lawyer yesterday in the mail. Now we just need to find out about the fuel tank that we were supposed to have paid half of. :-S Confussion!!

Well I should be off to vacuum and make a couple of calls that need to be made.

can't remember

Last night I had a blog post written in my head but now that I sit in front of the computer I can not seem to remember what it was that I was going to write about.

Over the weekend we did some cleaning around the house and things are starting to look better. I really should have taken a picture of Truckerman's office and desk to show. There was not a space in it that was not under stuff. Now it is looking great.

Living room, kitchen, dining room, front enterance, I went through there like a whirlwind and started throwing things out. Those rooms are starting to look better as well. The four people living under that roof need to start throwing things out or putting it away when finished.

I am on a new rant at the moment. Actaully it is an old one. I hate and I mean HATE lights, etc. being left on. If you are not in the room, turn it off. If you are not watching or listening to it, turn it off. It is as simple as that. Less power being used and less money being spent on that power.

Next mission, cleaning the boys bedroom. UGH!!! :-S
