wow busyness!!

Let's see. Pete and Repete went camping for a week with my parents. Then the 4 for us went camping with Truckerman's dad and his dad's girlfriend. Then Pete went to camp with our friends daughter for a week. Then Truckerman's dad and his girlfriend came for a wedding and stayed for Truckerman's cousin's wedding yesterday.

The wedding went really well and the bride and groom looked awesome. Truckerman was an usher and said the blessing at the meal. He and I (and the boys) helped set things up. I made a scrapbook for the guests to sign and took all of their pictures to add to the book. (Yup I know, what was I thinking) I helped set out the food the midnight lunch. And the list goes on. But everyone had a good time and that is what matters.

Right now and well for quite a while, I have been having trouble with Pete and now Repete is starting to do some things now after watching his brother. Pete does not want to listen and do what he is told, he is getting mouthy and disrestectful, he is getting very bossy and he also speaks over others while they are talking. I am getting very frustrated with this. He will not pick up after himself and only does half of his jobs. I can ask, then tell, and then I end up yelling at him. I ground him, I take things away from him, I try to talk to him. Nothing is working. I am not sure what to do anymore. I have the week off and I plan on cleaning the house and reorganizing. We are all in need of putting our share into keeping the house clean and to clean up after ourselves.

Last week I joined Weight Watchers. I have figured out that I can not do this on my own along with other things. I am hoping that this helps me to lose the weight. It is taking some getting used to having to record everything I eat or drink but it is getting better because I have to think about what I am putting in my mouth and nothing is off limits. I am glad that I have this week off so I can get exercising and working on my food choices without having to work on top of it.

Congratulations on the weight watchers -- best wishes there!

I don't know what to tell you about children not listening. That seems to come and go in phases around here. We have noticed, especially with our older one, when all the brains seem to be missing she is in the midst of a growth spurt.

thanks for the wishes. i wish it was the growth spurt. there seems to be a child that is disrespectful around and Pete picks up on it and then it gets really bad. i wish that some parents would discipline their children. the liberals in this country are making it even more difficult to discipline in this country. what is a parent to do?
